This year we decided to let Lauren get an electric quitar with amp. Ethan got a drum set, scary! They both listen to alternative Christian music and would love to have a band someday. Lauren is always writing lyrics in her bedroom. Maybe they can be famous and I can retire early and ride horses all day, great plan!After all a goal without a plan is just a dream.
My 12 year old son and I recently seen The Letter Black, Deyfer Down, and Skillet in concert. They all were awesome but you had better like a little metal. Ethan couldn't even talk the next day....goal complete. He did get his voice back by the time he got home from school.

7th grade for Ethan this year we hope to keep him on track, friends and music they all can change is out look!

Lauren has her first recital for guitar on Saturday, someday I hope to hear her on the radio. She is only nine but has been writing her own music for awhile. I admire her passion, it keeps her up late a lot of nights working on the next big song.

Who invented the kids bop cd's, my kids try to listen to them when ever we get in the car.Unfortunately, it gets all of us singing anyway!:( ....:) very confused.

I finally got an ipod so my wife put music on it for me(I'm challenged) The first thing my 8 year old says is she wants all that music on hers. They are all christian metal bands. I think she is on the right track.
