WTGO Suzbro!

Now you need to post an article in URNR on the show, with lots of pictures and "how I felt" moments to share with all of us.

Well, since I last wrote Celide & I have been to two more shows, the SSHC one and another on the 4th of July. We made it through the SSHC show with two 4th places, which was fine. The only time we had a problem was with the second class when it started raining & got windy at the same time - Celide was not a happy camper! We had almost made it through the class, someone across the field bellowed & Celide stopped dead and bellered back! What a twirp.
The second show went much, much better. Celide was much more relaxed, was not calling to the other horses and was listening. We ended up with a second and Reserve Champion in the two classes. The weather was perfect and it was fun day.
Our next challenge is on August 16th back at SSHC. If we do really well, we have a shot at high points for the season, right now we are in the lead. That will be our last show for the season in the saddle. When we get home the next week we will start working to majorly improve our cantering for next year. Celide is already ready revving her engine!!
We will be going along to the Deerfield Fair Horse Show in Deerfield, NH with the gang on Oct. 1. We are going to show in the English Horse in Hand for the heck of it, if I can manage to run around that arena with keeling over I may qualify as a young, old fart! It should be lots of fun working with everyone, watching everybody show & seeing the specialty classes like Arabian Horse & Friesan Horse Costume.
I feel like both Celide & I have grown over the season and learned a lot of lessons. I am sure we will continue to experience new things as we go along but we sure are having fun. I'll be letting you know how the next part of our saga goes- I have to go now and practice my breathing!!!!
