How do I use Instant Chat?
Drum Roll Please! U Rock 'n Ride Chat is live and we're rolling out our beta release so you can take it for a test drive. There are a couple of things you're going to want to do to make sure you enjoy this latest application!
You'll now notice on the lower right navigation of your screen a status bar that says "Online Friends." If you want to chat, click on a friend's name and a chat window will open (a nice big one we might add) and the friend you clicked on will receive an invitation to chat.
Instant chat will appear on every page of U Rock 'n Ride. However, if you want to chat while in the Forum, you'll need to start or open a chat prior to entering the Forum.
U Rock 'n Ride Chat is set to work in all platforms. However, if you're running IE 6 or below, now's the time you must upgrade to Internet Explorer 8. Or...better yet...give Firefox a try, you won't be disappointed. If you're in the update mode, don't forget to upgrade to the latest Adobe Flash Player; if you're using an older version of the Flash player, you may have trouble uploading photos to the site.
Some of you are likely to find a bug or two since this is our beta release. When you do, send Christi a Private Message when you find any little critters we need to address.
