the feeling i get..
U Rock 'n Ride has some great members - catch up on their updates.
the feeling i get when i ride my horse is freedom. that’s all i care about. my horse makes me feel so much better when i’m feeling down. i love the connection, the bond and the relationship i form with my horse after having owned him for 3 years. he is my therapy. everyone gets caught up in the competition of it all that they forget about the special connection they form with their horses. i don’t care that my horse is not a $100,000 jumper or hunter. He jumps fine at 2’9 and that’s where i’m fine jumping at. i still have that feeling of flying with my horse even if its only at 2’6-2’9. people have suggested that i sell my horse because he is getting older and he’s gonna have problems but ya know for everyone’s information my horse is fine and couldn’t be better and don’t want a younger horse just yet. i’ve established and gone through so much with my horse that i am not ready to give that up so i can be “competitive.” sorry that’s just not me. and i know i get judged for it but you know what i don’t care anymore. its what i choose to do with my life and my horse. i ride because i love to ride. and that’s all i have to say about that. u don’t like it then really all i have to say is tough, get over it cuz it ain’t ur horse and it sure as hell ain’t ur life. i’m so tired of being around this ignorant, stuck up competitive people that forget what riding is all about… people need to get over themselves and let other people be…i may not be the best rider out there but ya know i ride because i love to ride and just ride my horse. don’t judge me when you have no reason to…or maybe its because i just don’t care anymore…
