Well here it is Monday evening and I just heard from my boss who told me not to come in tomorrow as it is just too hot.   It is nice to get unexpected days off.  However it is too hot to ride here with the humidity we have.  Hopefully Wed will be better. 

 Did have to take our little kitten in to the vet today.  Skid who was hit and left for dead in front of our house had a fever of 103 today and was feeling awful.  Found out that he does not have any dreadful kitty diseases and it is most likely an abcess that is getting ready to pop out on him.  He and the older 3 legged cat play a lot together and the grouchy Moondust probably bit him too hard.  The vet also said that Skid was probably going to be a monster cat when he was grown.  Anyway about $120 later Skid feels better with an antibiotic shot and some amoxicillian to take 2x a day for the next several days.
