Here’s a tip we gave last summer, but it’s so good it’s worth repeating. Tie or fold a bounce dryer sheet to your horse’s head stall and put another sheet in your back pocket so half of it sticks out of your jeans or breeches. It honestly works better than fly spray. We’ve tried other sheets, but Bounce is definitely the best. Give it a try and let us know what you think!

I know vinegar and water works about a day, depending on sweat levels.
Fly sprays work about a week, with the rare few re-hydrating for up to two weeks.
