For most of us that show, the season is coming to an end. We feel everyone needs a break including our horses. At this time of year consider giving your horse a month or two to just be a horse. Pull the shoes and let them play and enjoy being turned out as much as possible. If your horse is in training cut back to half or no time for 60 days if your trainer allows. Your horse will come back just fine and in fact, maybe a little happier for the break. Bonus – you’ll save a few bucks in farrier and training costs too!
