Go Green; Save $$

There are all sorts of things we can use more than once around the barn that not only keep things “green” but help save a few bucks along the way. Here’s a quick three:

1.    Nail empty saddle soap tins up on the wall; they’re a great way to efficiently give each halter or bridle a special spot in the tack room.
2.    Use your empty feed bags as garbage bags.
3.    Keep your hay string in one area and fashion into halters or lead ropes for your pasture horses.

Proving once again the simplest ideas are often the best!
