Articles Tip of the Week Archive
Ever had your water tank overflow because you were multi-tasking and lost track of time while filling the outside tanks? It’s happened to most of us. Put a bright colored ball in the tank which you can view from a solid distance. When you can see the ball reaching the top of the tank, you’ll know it’s time to walk on down and shut off the water!

I do that one ;-) I leave ball in the tank all the time the horses seem to like playing with it bobbing it in the tank and it even helps the tank from freezing up so hard in the winter and the horses are use to bobbing it they bump it and the Ice crakes away
but I still get out and deice the tank but this helps out a little and makes taking the ice out easier
but the tank heaters are the better way but for the ones that can't use them try the ball thing it works ;-)
